I like these tires, big difference right off the bat. I'm thinking of putting them on my dodge but will be using a different install place. All tires had the wrong pressures Mine take 75 rear and 55 front .all tires had around 34 pounds in them 2 guys were putting the tires one on the driver 1 on the passenger I was at shop driver side tires have 4x the weights as the passenger. Coincidence maybe but not likely.
This tire handles all weather conditions in my northeast area. Looks great, wears perfectly and low noise.
I just bought our 3rd set (2023, 2024, 2025). We use them everywhere; highway, gravel, interstate and off road. We do road construction so often are in the grass on the shoulders. I can't say how many miles we got, but they last about a year so we got several thousand (over 30,000). We put them on a Dodge Ram 2500 diesel. We do rotate them. We pull trailers a lot of the time and the truck is often heavily loaded.
It's a great all around tire! Bought them for the comfort of all year driving!( no they are not a true winter tire) but they do great in snow and are decent tire on slick roads and that's why I bought them!
So far a good tire! Haven't had them in to deep of snow. But get great traction on hard packed snow. On solid ice they do way better than my Goodyears. Not a very loud tire but they do throw rocks. Will extend this review when we get more snow and in about a year!
Years and years I've replaced set after set of duratracs... after balancing problems and balancing problems i ventured to try the destination Dr and couldn't be more pleased. Destination xt stayed balanced, wore evenly and provided fantastic performance off-road when needed and on icy/snowy roads when needed. I like them, I'm buying another set today after 70,000 miles they have 3/32 left on two and 4/32 on the other two. Pretty damn good for the crap I put them through.
Purchased set of cheaper tires and they were terrible. Problem after problem so Simple Tire worked with me and I purchased another set of GOOD tires and returned the 1st set of tires for a full refund, they paid shipping both ways, and now my RAM 1500 rides like a dream. Great people to work with. If you have a problem just contact them and they will work it out for you. Great company and when I need tires again, you bet it will be SIMPLE TIRES.
As good as duratracs in snow. Better than duratrac on ice. Fairly quite. Seem to ride well for 10ply tire too. Handling is great, feel solid and very predictable in dry, wet, snow and even on ice.
Better ride than the factory Firestone's that we're on it but get a little bump steer from them at 80mph or faster but all and all happy with them got the cheap deal of the day $148 each couldn't pass them up
The Firestone Destination X/T is a rugged-terrain tire that's designed for use on SUVs, Jeeps, and light trucks, and offers drivers enhanced on- and off-road traction and grip, confident year-round performance, and a 50,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty.
Features & Benefits
Whether it is wet roads, mud, dirt, rocks, or any other challenging terrain, enthusiastic drivers of Jeeps, SUVs, and pickups always look for the right set of tires that can offer dependable on- and off-road performance. Fortunately, the Firestone Destination X/T offers a great balance between the typical all-terrain and mud-terrain tires, allowing the drivers to confidently switch from on-road to off-road. This rugged-terrain tire from Firestone features an aggressive, open-shoulder design to offer a greater command in muddy conditions and on wet rocks, while the optimized tread pattern with deeper grooves and open shoulder slots forces water out of the footprint for increased grip on wet roads and reduced risk of hydroplaning. The Destination X/T is also Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certified to offer enhanced traction and grabbing power in moderate to severe snow and ice. While the staggered shoulder lugs of the Destination X/T boost off-road biting ability, the full-depth interlocking 3D sipe technology provides even wear throughout the life of the tire. The Destination X/T is made for use on vehicles like the Ford F-150, Chevrolet Silverado, RAM 1500, Toyota Tundra, Jeep Wrangler, Land Rover Range Rover, Nissan Titan, and GMC Sierra.
